Pricing depends on the size and intricacy of the piece, but here are the typical steps and prices for a commission (please read carefully before submitting an inquiry).

Steps:

1. Contact me via the Custom Order Button on ETSY and I'll send you an inquiry form to fill out (please fill it out thoroughly).
 

2. After I receive the form and go over your request, I'll send you a quote (the total amount+ any additional fees, like shipping should you choose a print). 
 

3. Once you approve of the quote, I'll send you a contract for you to look over (does not include thumbnail at this point, just pricing, process, timeline, and terms and condition/ artist and client rights). At this point I need you sign the first line of the contract that says "Terms and Conditions".. 
 

4. After I've received your acknowledgement of the terms of the contract, I'll send you a link to Trello where updates on the commission will go. Here, the thumbnail will be posted within 48-72 hours.

 

5.After you've approved the thumbnail, The first payment  is required and will be sent to you via a private listing on Etsy. It is half of the initial quote and goes towards the total price of the quote (non-refundable). You have up to 3 major revisions before additional fees apply (USD$25).
 

6. All updates will be low-res, watermarked jpgs on Trello. The images are just for your reference and are not yours to keep. After each stage of the commission is complete, the previous image will be replaced with the update. You are prohibited to post the any of these images on any social media.
 

7. Commissions take between 3-5 weeks depending on the complexity. I ask that you be fully committed to the deadlines and keeping up on updates. If the commission should take longer due to inactivity or lack of feedback, late fee's will be applied starting 3 days after the commission deadline. If there is a delay on my end and an extension is required, I'll contact you directly about that (and of course no late fee's will be applied). 
 

8. After the final image has been uploaded to Trello (watermarked and low-res) and has been approved by you, I'll send you the final version of contract, where you'll sign on the third and final line called "Commission Complete". My signature will be already on the line beneath it, and all you need to do is send it back to be as you did before. Once I receive the contract, signed and all, I'll send you one final listing with the remainder of the payment (shipping, should you choose a print, will be applied at checkout). 
 

9. Once you've paid the remainder of the commission, Here's what will happen next.

Digital Commissions: I'll send you a high-res, signed jpg via ETSY along with an invoice of your purchases throughout the entire time. This will be sent to you within 48hrs of final payment.

Print Commissions: I'll print out the design on the requested size, sign it in the right hand corner on the front, and add any embellishments/add-on's should you want them. I'll pack it and ship it in a USPS Flat Rate Envelope within 3-5 days. Invoice will be sent via email once it has been shipped.

Digital and Print Commissions: Once I've printed and packaged the design, the day the print ships is when I'll send you the Digital part of the commission. Invoice will be sent via email once print has been shipped.

NOTE: **any thumbnails and photos you receive during the duration of the commission are solely for educational purposes and are NOT to be sold OR used for commercial purposes or for any other artist to replicate and sell. the designs are copyright protected and any design changes are not voided of legal action should it be used for anything else other than intended purpose of the commission. **

Pricing for digital or Print and the price of the design are separate so you can mix and match what exactly you envision for your piece.
All Prints are on cool-toned, archival-grade Cotton fiber paper.

Digital is available to international customers. Prints are only avalible to the U.S. currently.

Terms and Usage Rights

ARTISTS RIGHTS/USAGE RIGHTS

Artist (me): all elements of this piece are protected and copyrighted as intellectual property. Thumbnails, updates, composition style, format, and likeness are the artists only and may not be reproduced, sold, or posted anywhere online without my explicit permission. Replication of pieces on commercial products, such as t-shirts, hoodies, jackets, posters, home décor, stickers, prints (digital as well as physical), are PROHBITED by any other party other than the me.

Client: The physical commissioned piece that is sent to you after the final installment of payment is yours and yours only. The rights that you have to the piece only go as so far as the physical product at the end. You do not have rights to the design or composition, nor have any right to replicate the design anywhere commercially or by any other person other than myself. If you wish to post the final product online, please ask me first (or at least let me know ahead of time) and to please credit me properly (i.e. if you post it on Instagram, to tag me in the image as well as the description). Anything posted on social media MUST have my name credited on the image (Hope Jen Designs).

 

 

CANCELLATIONS/RETURN POLICY

 

AFTER THUMBNAIL APPROVAL, CANCELLATION WILL BE ACCCEPTED WITH NO REFUND. NO RETURNS ( touch-ups are accepted within reason and for an additional price depending on the size and complexity.)
